Market Bubble or Sustainable ?
There are several reasons that the current stock market growth is exciting for all who invest. The reason that 401K plans and investments have risen, is because more people are buying shares causing average share prices to increase.
Good or bad this is a fact. The question is, are the fundamentals sound. The value of stock is both the premium paid by demand and the underlying business value of each share purchased. In this current micro burst of growth it is undoubtedly growth in price due to demand. This is sustainable only if investors stay in their investments. As long as this continues so will upward DJIA momentum.
Consequently, I believe the fundamentals of average stock values are "red hot" and eventually the business metrics and price to earnings ratios will put a damper on the current political "good will" underway.
